Our app (the "Service") is a behavioral tool designed to help users regain control over their attention by interrupting impulsive app usage. We process your data locally on your device to ensure maximum privacy.

2. Prominent Disclosure: Accessibility Service

Focus App uses the Android Accessibility Service API as a core functional requirement to provide its primary features. This API is used for the following purposes:

App Detection: To identify in real-time when a user-selected "target app" (e.g., Instagram, Chrome) is launched in the foreground.
Intervention Trigger: To immediately display the "conscious pause" (Intervention Screen) over the target app.
Victory Action: To perform a GLOBAL_ACTION_HOME command when the user clicks the "Victory" (Exit) button, returning the user to the home screen and closing the target app.

Data Privacy: We do not collect, store, or transmit any data processed through the Accessibility Service. It does not monitor your messages, keystrokes, or any other personal content.

3. Additional Permissions

The app requires these permissions to function effectively:

Display Over Other Apps (Overlay): Necessary to show our intervention screen on top of other applications.
Query All Packages: Used to display a list of your installed apps so you can choose which ones you want to monitor.

4. Payments & Subscriptions

All financial transactions are handled securely via Google Play Billing. We do not have access to your credit card or banking information. Your subscription status is verified through your Google account.
